Dear Fellowship Applicant:
Thank you for your interest in our fellowship program. We are participating in ERAS (The Electronic Residency Application Service) for fellowships with a July 1, 2010 start date. Please visit the ERAS website http://www.aamc.org/audienceeras.htm for more information. Our evaluation of your application will be enhanced by a description of your research interests and career plans in the form of a Personal Statement.
In addition, we invite you to visit our website at www.hopkinskimmelcancercenter.org and select 'Training Programs' under MAIN AREAS in the menu list on the left side. Then select ‘Medical Oncology Fellowship Training Program’ from the menu list on the right side of your screen, where you will find a detailed description of our program facilities and curriculum.
Our training program consists of a clinical first year and then two years in clinical and/or laboratory research. Completion of this training program qualifies you for the board examination in Medical Oncology and the program can be structured for the board examinations in both Hematology and Medical Oncology.
