Auditorium Chair Research Fund
The Johns Hopkins Kimmel Cancer Center is raising funds to support our research projects and patient care programs through pledges to the Auditorium Chair Research Fund.
Our new 230-seat, multi-media equipped auditorium will provide a meeting space for faculty and staff to share ideas at symposia, connect with peers from various Johns Hopkins departments, and collaborate with faculty and researchers from other institutions.
Your $5,000 gift to the Kimmel Cancer Center (which can be pledged over two years) names a chair in the new auditorium and will support cancer research projects and patient care programs throughout the Cancer Center.
We will recognize your generosity with a plaque engraved in your name (or the name you choose) to the back of a chair within the auditorium, showing your commitment to supporting the Kimmel Cancer Center. Perhaps you’d like to honor or memorialize a loved one, mentor, or friend. At a time where we are experiencing a decrease in federal funding for cancer research, this is a unique opportunity to help fill that gap and make a lasting tribute to honor someone special.
At your convenience, our development representatives also are happy to arrange a time to visit the auditorium and your chair.
To make this special gift, please contact our Development Office at 410-516-4203. You can also make your gift using our online giving form. NOTE FOR THE ONLINE FORM: In the box that notes: "I wish to support a particular physician or area of cancer research:" type in "Auditorium Chair Research Fund." A development representative will contact you regarding the wording for your plaque.
Thank you for considering this gift to the Kimmel Cancer Center! If you have any questions, call our Development Officers at 410-516-4203.
